THE ESSENTIALS How to play Find every word in the target list. A word runs in one straight horizontal, vertical or diagonal line, in any of eight directions. Select its first and last letters. Either endpoint order is accepted, including backwards spellings. Any actual occurrence of a listed word counts, even if the filler letters happen to create another copy. Each target is counted once. Words may overlap. The puzzle finishes when every listed word has been found. Controls Select one endpoint, then the other. Select the same square again or press Escape to cancel the first endpoint. Tab reaches each square; Enter or Space selects it. Arrow keys move focus without wrapping to another row. Undo removes the last accepted word. Restart clears the found list on the same grid. New puzzle and difficulty changes generate another grid. Good to know This independently implemented game uses the established word-search idea and a small list of real common English words; it does not claim to invent the rules.
A bounded placement process guarantees that all targets occur. Additional accidental matches are permitted and accepted, rather than treated as wrong.
Board size and word count change with difficulty. There is no timer, invented vocabulary score or public ranking.
