THE ESSENTIALS How to play Reach exactly the displayed target in either jar. The other jar may contain any legal amount. Fill sets one jar to its full capacity. Empty drains one jar completely. Pour transfers water until the source is empty or the destination is full. You cannot stop midway or estimate a fraction. Each action that changes an amount counts as one move. An impossible action or a full/empty no-op does not change the move counter. Controls Use Fill A, Fill B, Empty A, Empty B, Pour A → B and Pour B → A. All buttons work with Tab and Enter or Space. Both jar amounts and capacities remain visible. The status gives the target, your current moves and the verified shortest route length. Undo restores the previous amounts and move count. Restart empties the same jars for the same goal. New puzzle selects another configuration from the level's finite bank. Good to know The two-jar measuring problem is a classic mathematical puzzle; this implementation and its finite challenge bank are independently created.
Each level has twelve verified configurations with coprime integer capacities no larger than twenty. Standard requires at least six moves, Hard at least ten and Expert at least fourteen on a shortest route.
The minimum is computed by breadth-first search over legal states, not guessed from a shuffle count. You may finish with any legal route; there is no timer or leaderboard.
