THE ESSENTIALS How to play Choose a peg, then an empty hole exactly two positions away horizontally or vertically. The intervening hole must contain another peg. A legal jump moves the source peg to the empty landing and removes the peg it crosses. Diagonal jumps are not allowed. Standard starts with 8 pegs, Hard with 14 and Expert with 20. Holes outside the cross are not playable. Finish with exactly one peg anywhere on the board. A central finish is not required. Controls Select a source peg and then its landing. Select another peg to change the source, or select the same one again to cancel. Arrow keys move focus between playable holes; Enter or Space selects the focused hole. Undo restores the previous jump. Restart restores the same arrangement. New puzzle applies another finite symmetry to the starting construction. Good to know Peg solitaire is an established mechanic. This implementation uses an independently constructed reverse-jump sequence whose forward return is verified.
The starting boards are finite rotations and reflections of construction prefixes. Each has at least one route to a single peg; uniqueness is not claimed.
Every legal jump removes one peg, so completed Standard, Hard and Expert routes contain 7, 13 and 19 jumps respectively. The choice of those jumps remains the challenge.
