Escape Academy 2 takes puzzle observation beyond the room

Coin Crew's campus preview makes exploration part of the question, not just the walk between answers.

REPORTED FACTS

What was announced

Coin Crew Games' October 13 preview sets a November 5 PS5 date for Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School. The developers describe an explorable campus with quests, secrets and puzzles, plus couch or online co-op across the story. Its art director says landmarks are designed to make players notice places before they understand how to reach them.

OUR EDITORIAL PERSPECTIVE

Why the idea caught our attention

A puzzle world can teach you to keep a question open. An unusual landmark may be meaningful long before you have the tool or clue needed to approach it. That creates a different skill from immediately solving a locked room: remembering a useful observation without deciding too early what it means. In co-op, describing what you see precisely can be more productive than having both players repeat the same search. We are watching how the announced campus connects those observations, while leaving judgments about puzzle quality until there is direct evidence.
