Hot Barrel Cats is a cat defense game with a heat twist. A fungus horde called the Mildews marches down the road toward your gate, and only the cats standing on the wall can shoot. Every shot heats a cat up; when its burn time runs out it jams and stops firing until it cools. Drag hot cats down to the spawn zone to cool off, send fresh ones up, and drop two matching cats together to merge them into a stronger tier. A merged cat starts completely cool, so a merge is both an upgrade and a rescue. Game info: single player, 16 hand-tuned levels with 1-3 stars each, landscape and portrait, desktop and mobile. Levels: boss fights on levels 8, 12 and 16 - Big Puffball, Shelf Cap and Spore Mother - each attacking your heat instead of your health. Characters: 15 tiers of barrel-toting cats against 5 kinds of Mildew. Between battles, spend coins in the cafe on perks, claim a daily reward and chase achievements.
How to play
Desktop: drag cats with the mouse (or click, then click the target). Esc pauses, M mutes. Mobile: drag with your finger (or tap, then tap the target). Wall cats shoot; drag hot ones down to cool. Drop a cat on its twin to merge.
